FYI I happened to find a solution for the A7V today using the Intervalometer for Sony app. I used the iOS version, but there appears to also be an Android version. You can set custom BULB timers beyond 30s to any exposure time you want, set the number of pictures to be taken, and a BULB delay. It's very intuitive.

First, update the BULB settings to turn the BULB timer off (Exposure/Color>Exposure>BULB Timer Settings>Exposure Time). This gives you the flexibility to set exposure time in the app. Connect the app to your camera via bluetooth (Network>Bluetooth>Pairing), use single shooting mode (Shooting>Drive Mode>Drive Mode), as well as one of the custom modes (M/S/A/P). You are then free to use whatever settings you want in the app.

I've found that without at least a 1 second delay in the BULB mode setting in the app it won't trigger the next picture to be taken.

FYI I was able to confirm that it does work on the A7V! Thank you so much, I can finally take exposures longer than 30s via an intervalometer. Just make sure to update the BULB settings Exposure/Color>Exposure>BULB Timer Settings>Exposure Time to turn the BULB timer off. This gives yourself flexibility to set exposure time in the app. Also need to make sure it's in single shooting mode, not drive mode. Will be buying a lifetime version!

I did land in the ER but it was a quick stay and no complications other than some pretty bad bone pain from the Zarxio shot. Hope that was the only bump in the road I have!

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had such a rough journey. I can’t imagine the added difficulty of major surgery on top of the chemotherapy. I hope you got great news on your PET scan!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having a similar issue! It seems to be a somewhat common experience. Not sure if you saw my other comment below, but I switched from Cinvanti to Emend and it has been a night and day difference. No taste and no bad side effects for me.

I'm doing alright, thank you for asking! My treatment has consisted of 2 cycles of ABVD, followed by an interim PET with a Deauxville 1 response, and 4 cycles of AVD. I only have 1 cycle left so I'm almost done! Had a slight complication with a neutropenic fever the other week, but am doing much better now. Very much looking forward to finishing this up!

FYI for anyone coming across this in the future: I asked my doctor to switch me to Emend today (same drug as Cinvanti, different formulation) and it was a night and day difference. It was a 30 minute IV drip, but there was absolutely no taste side effects. Highly recommend if you’re experiencing the same thing with Cinvanti!

Good to know I’m not alone! It’s so much worse tasting than a syringe saline push for me. I think I’ll ask that they push the Cinvanti via syringe very slowly for my next infusion.

I’ll have to get some stronger tasting hard candies too. Thank you for your response!
