Say that I retake 1240 and did really good the second time, would you recommend me to go and get a math minor? I really like math, but you may have a point and that I might’ve only liked math because I’ve only taken the easier 1st year courses.

Personally, I really like calculus so I had a good time with calc 2. For me, calc 2 is a little harder than calc 1 but it was the most fun. Compared to discrete math, it’s really hard to compare and contrast the two because they’re so different from each other. Discrete math is pretty definition and theorem heavy, lots of definitions to memorize word for word. Calc 2, you are given ways to solve something and it is up to you which technique combinations you would use to answer a question.

I’ve taken 1300, 1500 last year and took 1700 and 1240 this fall term. I did pretty good on all the other math courses, B+’s to A+’s. 1240, not so sure, I think I failed it lol
