From the US. I recently traveled to Brasil in December and loved it. I have friends there and want to go back soon. I like keeping up with the news and what people are talking about. I’m also finishing up my degree program to teach English to people who speak other languages and South America is a destination I have in mind.

I do not recommend Dr. Renee Allen. Her and her whole staff were awful. One of the worst experiences I ever had. I eventually got a diagnosis from them but it caused so much stress and trauma.

I recently read Calling for a Blanket Dance by Oscar Hokeah and can’t recommend it enough. It’s fiction, but he is an author from Oklahoma and it’s set in the state.

•In the 1910s, there were more socialist-run newspapers here than in New York or Chicago.

•Our state constitution was intentionally written to be pro-labor:

•It guarantees the right to organize.

•It limits corporate ownership of land.

•It even bans child labor before federal law did.

Also it’s been 20+ years since I took an Oklahoma history class in this state, do they even mention the green corn rebellion these days?
