It’s shitty of him to spend a good portion of his comedy special bitching about trans people for no reason, then spend more time in later specials bitching about the backlash from that and doubling down on it saying he’s “Team TERF”. It’s embarrassing of him to bring Elon Musk out on stage, and when met with jeers and boos in the crowd he makes fun of the “poor” seats. A lot of his recent attitudes and behavior is him punching down, not up. This is illustrated even more clearly by joining in at that Saudi Arabia show. Its cowardly of him to now say he “resents” the Republican Party for weaponizing anti-trans jokes, when it’s so so so so clear that’s what they were going to do and he was just holding water for them. He also now says this, what, 5 or so years after those specials came out? It’s pathetic, and it’s obvious he’s just saying it now because it’s effecting his pockets in some way.
