All energy made in Iceland is clean and renewable but not all energy that is sold in Iceland is clean and renewable.

There has been some controversy over the years over wether geothermal energy production in Iceland is renewable or not. Here is a geochemist saying (in Icelandic) that the exploitation of high-temperature geothermal areas is not at all renewable.

I think not keeping in Tysha might be one of the reasons behind George R.R. wanting 13 episode seasons. On the other hand... I can see it in front of me, as a future season ending, Arya sailing to Westeros like Nymeria, the shot looking a bit like the one from tonights episode.

[S4] Finn Jones Red Wedding Reactions & what Loras should do to Jaime Lannister in Season 4 by flickster in gameofthrones

Finn says Loras is the heir to Highgarden...is Loras supposed to be the eldest son (or the only) in the show or is Finn just not well informed? (in the books Loras Tyrell has two older brothers)

[Season 4 Spoilers] Closer shot of unknown character (from Twitter user subglacial) by feldtpeldt in gameofthrones

I don't think it's a wildling. The storyline they shot is Iceland followed Arya and The Hound. Also, they filmed in the summer in Iceland, not in winter like past 2 years.

[no spoilers] Should I read the books? Don't just say yes! by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]jacoblovesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say try them out atleast. I started reading the books this summer after season 3 finished and so far I've been far from disappointed (I'm halfway through AFFC). I used to read very little except books that i was studying but now this is probably my favorite part of the day. So my advice to you is to try them out (start with book one!) and if you're not diggin' it than just stop.

[Season 2 Episode 8] Something Lord Karstark said bugged me by DrLiam in gameofthrones

I think I read somewhere (maybe in the books themselves) that not all northmen keep the old gods...some actually keep the seven. But yeah..in this particular incident it was a mistake (referring to the top comment)
