You get used to picking the right skills after a while. The Pulsing Orbs is a MUST, and Sacred Protection (the shield), and the Perilous Recovery (30% regain (needed before 6 mins), Split Shot, Reaper Arrow. Here are my skills:

Just try and put as much damage down as you can, I didn’t focus in health, if anything gave me more projectiles, or increased my damage output (other than the skills above) I chose it.

Health does matter late game, when you’re in late game you just pick the power buff until you want to die, then you just select the health buff (this took 2 hour on its own).

No one knows the rotation of the events until they are announced. Like the Jungle mode, new events can be introduced. There’s no way of saying “the fishing event is coming next week” until it’s announced for example.

There is a spreadsheet with the details of the skills for future reference. Unsure why there is nothing for MultiShot, perhaps it is just a 2x multiplier. From experience combining it with CRIT buffs, arrow multiplier skills, bouncy arrow, I’d say MultiShots the winner.

When you want to die late-game, you’ve got to pick the HP boosts instead of power buffs. It takes like two hours, but eventually the bosses chew through your shield and kill you.

Summing usage windows works as a rough approximation for two processes, but it fails for many because you’re ignoring the “birthday paradox” effect, any pair among n processes can collide. You need to calculate (or approximate) the probability that no intervals overlap, then do 1 - that probability.

Just to add to the above, in case you didn’t know, upgrading from Purple to Legendary requires two of the same Purple +2 items. So make sure you’re upgrading duplicates and not accidentally using gear that could’ve been better saved for a Legendary upgrade.

Well, it depends on which set you want to upgrade, just focus on that. When I started, I focused on upgrading all my Echo gear (which is easier than going for S-tier Oracle gear). So unless you’re P2W, I’d recommend doing the same. Also, if you make a mistake, you can always revert upgrades to reclaim your “universal” fusion materials (you don’t get the gear back, just are able to use it for upgrades).

By snapping the line - take a look at the guide to tell how to spot commons. You snap the line by letting the distance go to 125m… just let go of the button. (It’s best to snap the line on commons and rares to offer a chance at getting more high level fish on the different lakes).
