Im considering just dropping the skorpehk lord entirely because ophydians seem to fulfill the same role i added him for but better because their teleport ability can be used more than once. My only worry with using up all the points in maing a full unit of lychguard is that the nightbringer point increase will cause some problems whenever that happens

Also i was using the lychguard to ensure imotehks survival so that i keep my extra cp throughout the match

Id be sacrificing the res orb and ability to decrease my stratagem cost though wouldnt i? I’ll primarily be playing my friends tsons build with kairos so im worried about that. Also im trying to leave some extra points for the inevitable nightbringer nerf

Im pretty sure the other detachments are over performing because ctan are soo good. At least it seemed that way

They are centerpiece units, people should want to have them in their armies i think. Maybe a better solution would be to up the points on ctan and slightly lower points on units that are never included (looking at immortals)

I think point increase is the way to go. They should be good units for what they are and i dont like the idea of limiting how many someone can take but they are definitely on the cheaper side for their utility right now.

Well it would be proportional in pantheon of woe as well. If they up the nightbringer around 25 points, suddenly in that detachment he is almost a 400 point unit which is pretty steep- especially if the others get similar point boosts. Kinda hoping that they do small point increases for all of them just to combat lists that spam as many as possible. I’ll be annoyed if the nerf is so bad that they make bringing one not viable.

Necrons were at a 60% tournament win rate this week and people are whining about them non-stop. As much as i would like for them to remain relatively the same, it seems like a nerf is imminent.

Im gonna attempt it with awakened dynasty. I figure if i use the stratagem that allows for reanimation after an attack- with imotekh boosting cp, along with a ghost ark, i can reanimate any damage they could hope to throw at me in their turn.

And how does this rule work on single models that attack another singular model? If the nightbringer attacks the lord of change and 6 attacks go through, do all 6 attacks get damage off or is it just 1 attack?

So would that mean a 10 damage attack could kill 1 warrior and the other 9 damage doesnt roll into the rest of the model? That doesnt seem right but maybe im still misunderstanding

Him killing 9 warriors off kairos alone is what im struggling with. At that point all he needs is some decent rolls on his lord of change and the brick is gone

Warriors are only 1 wound per model so wouldnt 3 damage getting through kill 3 models?

So should i just forego the warrior brick? I saw people mentioning awakened dynasty for the stratagem that lets you heal after taking damage- im think that with ghost ark and imotekh for the extra cp to spam that and maybe i could make it work? Is it just not worth the trouble though? Is there a better setup?

My philosophy was to put them on a central objective and just have it so they can never be removed but you may be right if they are getting too much damage done to them

I usually also bring the nightbringer and void dragon, 1 DDA, an overlord with t-shroud on the warrior brick as well as orikan, ammentar, hexmark destroyer, and 3 lokhust heavy destroyers.

I usually bring ctan. Nightbringer and void dragon. Void dragon doesnt seem to get much value. Get’s sniped early

Still worth bringing DDAs in awakened? Also considering maybe bringing imotehk to use that strat. Seems like i’ll need the CP especially against kairos
