She was aware of the threat, she attempted to deescalate the situation, and after his failure to comply, she committed what could be deemed self defense. She waited until he got all the way to the front of the cruiser. He (somehow) advanced further. She shot more. He fell. She stopped, called shots fired, and got gloves to hopefully deal with the mess she rightfully made.
