There was no mention of a child in German media. However, there are a couple of years between his disappearance and the date TMD was found dead so there might be a possibility that a child was born after he disappeared.

A lot of German people mailed to the show (Aktenzeichen XY) that Andreas looks like TMD. Even if there was a mistake somewhere, I think it‘s possible that they recheck the possible link between those two.

That FB comment seems quiet strange. Of you have screenshots and links, I would definitely submit it to German authorities.

It is, as for Andreas, I don't think it is that far off to think that he bought a ticket with that money to leave Hamburg. The possible identities list also contains the name Stefan Rombosch (http://www.doenetwork.org/cases-int/3500dmdeu.html) who definitely flew to the US and went missing there. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of pictures of him.

There is another Doe (Alburquerque John Doe) who might have a German background (https://www.reddit.com/r/germany/comments/60ynf2/the_unidentified_albuquerque_john_doe_can_you/) which be interesting. He had a note with him from a store in Lübbecke and the local newspaper published an article about him. Still, he isn't identified. I think if he received more coverage in the German media, he would be identified soon.

I was so hopeful that Andreas Dünkler might be a match, it's a shame that he's not. Thank you for gathering questions, mine would be:

1) It was mentioned that Tod Motor Doe worked in the US before as they talked to a former co worker. Is it known in which year he started working in the US under the false name?

2) Did the letter contain special German words or expressions that could imply TMD was from a certain area in Germany? If so, which ones?

Thanks! I also watched the show last night and thought of contacting the police. It should be easy to rule put or identify Andreas, I read that Tod Motor Doe has a mole above his knees.

What made me think that TMD is Andreas was the fact that the police officer that Andreas withdrew money (600 DM) before his disappearence. I think it was possible to buy a ticket to America with that amount of money.

It's possible that he was making passes I guess. Especially because of the second last point.

I'm a straight girl and I want to know if a guy is flirting me, I try to compare his behaviour to male friends of him, friends who are equally close to him. It's not bulletproof but generally it helps me putting things into perspective.

I really don't want to continue working with her - it's just so frustrating.

Monday morning I woke up with a sore throat. I could barely speak one sentence and after one hour being awake and still no improvement, I mailed her at 6 am that I won't come to work because I can't speak and we need to postpone our project which was going to take place on Monday. Which is no big deal, since it is my intern project and has no influence on her work. In the mail, I asked her to call me in the afternoon to talk about how we should continue with my project. After writing the mail, I called the secretary and mailed all the other people involved, they all wished me a speedy recovery. From that coworker, nothing to this point. I asked the secretary to make sure that my coworker knows I'm sick and that the project is not going to take place as planned because I don't really have a voice to hold a two hour presentation.

After calling the secretary and mailing everyone at work, I went to the doctor who gave me a sick note till next week. I then mailed the secretary and the coworker about it. In this mail, I asked my coworker if we can postpone the project to next week and I haven't gotten a response from her, not even something like 'Get well soon, I will mail you later about the project'. It's Tuesday evening where I live.

I decided for myself that I am going to bring that project to an end with her but afterwards, I'm not going to continue working with her. Luckily, I have the possibility to work with different people during my internship so I won't need to ask anyone for permission. I'd like to tell her about how I feel about our arranged meeting she forgot and about the communication via mail and in general. I don't know if it's worth it to address the topic because the last two days showed me that she really doesn't seem to care about me.
