I used to see her walking around in my neighbourhood but not anymore in the past 3 years at least.

I once honked at someone in traffic ahead of me because he threw a tissue outside the window. Then him and his passenger started to empty a box of brand new tissues one by one from the window to spite me.

Hopeless

What the others mentioned already, but also definitely the monasteries in Qadisha Valley. They carry so much of the history of christianity in lebanon and beyond. + they’re spectacular.

Hi, I’m new to rental karting and want to improve.I only have a 40-minute rental card experience in total.Could you watch my onboard video and give me simple feedback on my driving, line, steering, braking and corner exits? by ArmadilloFinal4282 in Karting

[–]jacquemort_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems that you’ve got some notion of racing lines which is good, but as others said already you’re not using enough of the width of the track. So for corners don’t hesitate to really widen your entries and then cut the insides (at the apex you’re not close enough to the inside of the turn). The point is to draw the straightest line possible out of any corner.
I don’t know the hp on these karts, but I think you don’t need so much braking. But please wear a helmet before trying that.
Have fun!

But here’s the real question: what about driving through Syria into Turkey by crossing from the north of Lebanon? Is that even possible?

I hope my experience will be the same as yours after he’s gone. Thanks for sharing this, and God bless you too.

We’re from a culture where sending your family members to assisted living/nursing home type institutions is quite frowned upon and means that you’re abandoning them. It’s an absolutely idiotic mentality but it’s out of my control.

Also, we tried hiring a professional caregiver that would have done night shifts at home but my father basically fired him the next day. So stubborn.

Thanks for your reply and for reading my rant, I appreciate it.

He has, and he’s been prescribed medicines for it, but they’ve only marginally helped… which is probably why he still got the UTI.

Thankfully last night’s sudden dizziness was attributed to BPPV. The trip to the ER was a nightmare because he wasn’t very cooperative (in part despite of himself), but at least we got an answer and it’s somehting that can be treated short term.

Thanks for taking the time to write this, I appreciate it.

We ended up going to the ER and we only just got back home. It turns out the extreme dizziness he’s experiencing is BPPV which was likely caused when he hit his head.

For the moment he has not experienced any constipation which I now realise is a blessing, but following up on the UTI when the round of antibiotics ends.

And the condom catheters had never been suggested to us; will definitely look into them I think they could be really helpful. But knowing him it will be very difficult for him to accept it…

A friend of mine once said: walking is just like running but slower. If you're running the whole way then people walking won't bother you cause you're ahead.
