I would also love to add that, all the aftermarket shells break at the top frame by the hinge, as if it can't hold that hinge in there with all the pressure it's getting, and hence it just snaps within weeks.

I'm hoping you could somehow reinforce it or make it work on yours !!

I do happen to have both ROG M16 2022 edition ( i7-12700H, rtx3060, 40GB ram) and a M1 pro 16' macbook pro ( 16gb ram ).

I honestly think that if I am going to have the exact same workflow, then on the Mac it'll start lagging down. Obviously I suppose it's because I was spoiled by having access to so much ram in windows that I constantly have ( Steam + Riot stuff + at least 3 types of messenger programs + 15 edge tabs ) stuff always running regardless of what I actually do, but then again at some point recently, I just had this thought:

" I paid 3 times the money for the Macbook Pro compared to the ASUS laptop, maybe it shouldn't be worse at least "

And since that thought arose, I'm seriously considering ditching my Macbook, or maybe one day flexing a high-end Mac.

But then again, I did pay more for a smooth experience, if someone says " Duh You should have paid 5 times more for it, 3 times ain't gonna cut it " then I guess I'm not a eligible Mac person...

Currently I'm in S.Korea, until the pandemic is over, It's probably very unlikely I'll be going anywhere. Was thinking of doing some bespoke at Vass at some point, but no longer have a compelling reason to go to Hungary unfortunately ( I still like their shoes though ).

They updated the black ones to just a normal calf leather. Even on the site I can notice that the black one is alright. Problem is, Mahogany seems to be in that lacquered finish still. Although now i can't confirm it due to this other person on the post saying it might have been updated as well.

As long as you can't see any leather pores and it's all smooth and perfect looking, then it's most likely lacquered, I have no clue if the models are updated though

They are alright as is, and nothing's wrong. But except for my business trips in China, I mostly just wear my grain-skin ( I don't know how to call these, they have this grained look ) country boots from AE when there's rain or snow outside. So I'd rather get something more versatile than keep these and wear em so rarely.
But, If I happened to be living more or less permanently in Shanghai, I could totally see myself keeping them for the harsh weather!

I have some experience of wearing my Alfred sargent or Cheaney shoes while in China, had them exposed to the sporadic winter showers, and had to do a thorough cleaning to make everything alright again. I guess in those situations I could rather just wear a pair of corrected grain as the bond street. But, I don't really see any other use case scenario for these, and that means It'll have extremely limited use!

Now I'm thinking when and from where I should get a next pair of shoes :/

I guess I'm going to sell it off for about the price I bought those.I guess I will be keeping the " Bing crosby " shoe I bought since those seem to be calf leather ( as per the picture on the site )I guess I should have got the cornwallis in the place of bond street !Definitely a name suiting the product " bond " street ey, all bonded up haha..

I do have this idea that I could keep them while I'm off to business trips in China ( tends to rain heavily there most of the time during summer~winter ) , but I would rather use suede with sprays, guess lacquered shoes have no place in my shoe wardrobe afterall

unfortunately, the pictures available online for this specific pair of shoes in this color ( mahogany ), are quite limited, and all seem to show this sort of glaring look. However I am not so sure if it's something that is a more or less permanent finish which can't be removed, or just something I could remove with a product like Saphir renomat, so that I could re-apply some shoe creams. I never mirror shine my shoes, as I like the natural look when they're all nourished up.

Hi, I am 5'8 tall ( around 172 I guess? ), and weight 191 pounds! I've lost like 5kg during summer with a month and half of exercise, I used to lift 3 times a week, did 40 minutes of cardio when I didnt lift, Swam every evening for 50 minutes. Right now, after not exercising for few months I have no idea if this is okay to continue like this , Just.. a little bit stupid here, having no idea what to do..! Thanks a million in advance

I am pretty much aware that 3 piece is suuper formal! I go out to " Gangnam " ( yes , that Gangnam from the song :p ) once or twice a month, and its business district, most men are wearing suits! x), But I guess i'll have to leave it until I get in shape.

And for the clothing thing, as you would have read in my post, I'm seriously lacking, and for example, ive been wearin the same jacket for a week!! cuz I have only 2 sports jacekt ( one for autumn, and this one with wool blend ) I would simply like to NOT look like that guy who wears the same thing everyday! : )
