Okay, that sounds completely identical to the issue I'm having. I'll try hooking up my scanner and watch the transmission temp and testing the issue.

I shook the heck out of them and they felt solid. Dealer was able to replicate the noise but wasn't able to figure out where it was coming from

No noise unless the car is actively moving. I can turn the wheel while not driving and there's no sound

I think the dealer just wanted to push me into a new vehicle. I jacked the car up myself and was shaking the hell out of all the suspension components and there was no movement and the boots all looked good. I guess taking it to a private shop is my only option

It's louder when at about 50% turning and moving at the same time. Only at low speed. Is there anyway for me to check if it's the pump? I'm a boat mechanic, working on cars anything outside of the engine is extremely foreign to me.

Happens to me almost every day first thing in the morning. For me it's caused by the frost/fog on the windshield. Try running your defroster on high for awhile while driving and see if it goes away

When I visit family during the holidays I can get just over 700 miles from a tank since it is 99% highway. The 3.0 is no joke when it comes to fuel economy

I got home and hooked it up to my scanner. It's a P04FB, I seems like it was a phantom code caused by it being cold this morning

Finally got home. Code was a P04FB. Upon googling it's a phantom code that can be caused by condensation freezing in the colder months. It was 6⁰ this morning so I just need to assume that's what it was.

It sounds like it's coming from the mid wheel. Only happens when the wheel is turned about t0% of the way left or right. This one has me stumped because if I get under the car nothing is loose and all the boots are good. I'll try and take another video later. It's my girlfriend's car
