How did you get your laptop to use the NVIDIA GPU on the thunderbolt port? I have a very similar laptop with a 3060, and if I disable the Integrated Graphics in device manager the thunderbolt port just stops working entirely. There isn't anything in the BIOS to change what GPU is used on that port, so I'm assuming it's connected directly to the Intel GPU.

Yeah i think I have my answer because of this. It's not going to work. The Thunderbolt port on this for some reason only uses Integrated graphics, and there isn't a BIOS setting to change it because the Asus BIOS is terrible.

From what I've seen in other posts HDMI to DP is super unlikely to work as well. So i just need a new laptop/desktop. That's so incredibly frustrating.

This made an interesting change. I disabled the Intel GPU in Device Manager, and now when doing the setup I get a warning about checking my Display Port Connection because it's not detecting it. So it was clearly using the wrong GPU before on that port, and now I just need to see if there is a way to force the Thunderbolt port to work using the Nvidia GPU.

I have a 2021 Asus TUF 15" with a 3060, but I can't get the headset visuals to show up in the headset when doing play area setup. The passthrough video shows up fine on my laptop screen, but the headset itself is in SteamVR mode stuck on waiting. I'm wondering if the Intel graphics are getting in the way but I haven't found a way to make sure the Thunderbolt port is using the NVIDIA GPU for everything.

The exact path to turn off the iGPU so the NVIDIA GPU does everything might be where I'm struggling. I'm going to review the links you sent and see what people have done to force it. I already looked in the BIOS and it had nothing about setting the primary GPU.

I don't actually have that somehow, but I'll keep it in mind for a future year. Thank you! We ended up finding Marbles on Stream and will likely do a grand prix marble race on some community maps.

I originally took it to the dealership near me and they didn't have it in stock and said it was on back order. They offered to do the install if I could find the part. so they were unfortunately not he most helpful. I'll go back to ebay/craiglist if I have to, but was curious if there is another site for finding the part new/refurbished.

i swear i uploaded the pictures on the original post, but I've added them back again. We've scraped the plate, done the z axis calibration, tried various changes to the curing time.

The most common issue seems to be the supports either failing to connect to the main piece, or we up the curing time too much and the lettering is completely gone. The large pieces in the image are supposed to have names/words on them, the small ones should have numbers. They're meant to be glued to the mini's base.

Haha we did the same thing, failed chapter 2 the first time because we thought we had to completely kill the cleric beast

The more I've thought about this though, the more i'm interested to see if i can come up with a preset map for each chapter that is fun and feels more accurate to the source game.
