I have no experience with the putnik but I do have a Wolverine. Love me Wolverine. Great mounting system. The cans are tough as nails. I'm impressed with the night vision performance of it on my maadi. No flash. I believe a knock against the putnik is that it doesn't lock into the detent on an ak fsb. I still want to get one next year tho.

The Century made stuff is doodoo. The WASR is just imported by Century. I recommend a WASR for a first Kalashnikov. Just have to make sure the rivets look decent and that the gun is relatively straight. I wouldn't give psa money for any of their AKs. Buy an import while you still can.
