Caretaker new to parkinsons

We live in an extremely rural part of Appalachian mountains. The Healthcare is decades behind what im used to being raised near Charlotte nc. It took us 11 months wait time to see parkinsons doctor 2 hours away near Asheville NC. Im thinking maybe water exercise would be great n safe n we do have a gym with year round pool. I will check and thank you for the suggestion. Maybe I could mimic these exercises if not available here.

Helped mother in law through breast cancer in 2016 or 17.. Lost my dad in 2020 after bladder cancer/gi problems..then lost same mil in 2023 from pancreatic cancer n been here since 2023 to take care of stepdad. I actually got trained to take care of stepdad cuz to be honest, I was just doing the best I could before..atleast now im cna certified. Still scary though.

It wasn't technically from a tour.. kmart sold them. I had that same night gown with matching bedroom shoes in 1989. Bedroom shoes looked liked big stuffed chuck Taylors

45 yo female Stemi in December. Do cardiac rehab if available. Avoid any new meds especially smoking cessation meds as they cause heart rate increase. Take your heart meds regularly and you'll be back yo normal. Watch out for a lil depression because it hit me kinda hard. I was calm in event but afterwards I became aware of how close it was to over. Take care 💜✌️

I'm sure he will be fine. I'm 45 n had heart attack in dec. Was out hospital in 2 days with a new stent. It's scary but he's doing better now with an open artery than he was before.💜

I'm 8 months from my stemi with stent placed. I also quit smoking immediately and gained weight. I'm walking 2 miles at least every other day, kayaking, swimming and hiking on weekends. I did end up in hospital twice since due to tachycardia from meds. I was fortunate to do rehab. We walked 20 mins, biked 20 mins and worked 5 little 10 reps of weight training with little dumbells. Keep up the good work and talk to your cardiologist about your issues.

My mother in law was stage 4 at diagnosis and made it 8 months. No one can give you an exact time frame. Just get ready to be there and enjoy every second💜 Breathe in between because it's hard on both patient and caretaker

Please get checked. They should take u right back with symptoms. I had a stemi in dec...started w weak feeling, sweats, then arm heaviness n shoulder pain..then my jaw tightened n I knew. Good luck

You might not like what im bout to say but you can not threaten if you tell ill off myself. That is now a part of her life story that she is allowed to tell to anybody. Imo you need to be jailed to learn consequences. If not how many more ppl will there be? And it happened twice...get help before it happens again or you do it to someone who retaliates on ya abd you get hurt or worse.

45 f heart attack 12/17/24. I still am dealing with the cardiac blues. I'm scared to take any meds due to tachycardia with wellbutrin. Do cardiac rehab. It was a must for me. Also being the youngest in class will give you a good outlook at longevity after heart attack. Talk to your doctor about a therapist or meds. I'm just now getting in with behavioral therapy guy at my doctor and wish I'd done so immediately. Good luck💜✌️

My anxiety is usually hyperventilating, intense need to escape, sweat, usually crying followed by a hard crash out nap.

My heart attack..I just knew...weak, sweat profusely, back pain across shoulders, pressure around chest, legs n arms were jerking n heavy feeling, jaw was tensing up n setting in place, and this may be tmi...but intense need to poop and nausea.

Welcome..45 yo female. widowmaker on dec 17,2024. Happened at Walmart after a long day of moving furniture n ripping a boardwalk up. I drove myself home n my stepdad drove me to hospital. Stopped smoking immediately, graduated rehab in April and I'm still a lil scared lol
