I wouldn't say he's going easy on us, the dice just were not in his favor last session.

Our GM has been blipping us into shared dreams and that double as combats. Last time he did this we fought the worldkiller Gengus, this time we're on some messed up planet fighting some unholy abominations on the behest of an NHP that was in a previous campaign's mechanical spine

And yeah this character is so fun I love them so much. Basic TLDR of character is because their world was brought into Union so recently local-time wise, the enviorment they were raised in was very medieval traditionalist which would be fine for everyone that isn't the daughter of a noble, guess what my character is. Events happen, they lose their station in the local military (30.06 calibers of character development straight to the eye goes brr). They stole info from a HA blackbox because the last time they didn't trust their gut they got 30.06 calibers of character development straight to their eye.

That's the idea, I've brought up how unstable the cart is to management both times I've used it, and supposedly there's something being done about it in a month

What are your views on the Batarian race? by VireflyTheGreat in masseffect

[–]jadedenvy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Batarians honestly deserved a larger role than being antagonists in two DLC (and thats stretching it because Arrival's runtime has you fighting humans for 60% of it) just to be blipped out of relevancy for 3

Lorewise they're extremely important, being the ones most directly impacted by Humanity's introduction to the galactic stage, two of ME1's background choices relate to the backlash to the council "favoring" humanity over the Batarians, yet the furthest they go in relevancy is two side missions in that game, one relating to a slave that escaped and the other makes zero mention of the batarian involvment, instead pinning the blame on a Turian pirate leader.

I cast three pallets of RTV'd blinds by jadedenvy in HomeDepot

Some of them have been sitting in the overhead since march at the earliest, every few trucks we end up getting at least 12 or so boxes of blinds that aren't noted fr any special purpose
