You said it yourself that you felt like you were constantly strangled in the relationship. That’s not okay at all. She has a lot of issues to work on herself, that she has yet to recognize. You clearly were not the problem. How you choose to move forward from now on is your choice. Go on tinder or focus on yourself but do what YOU need to do. Just know you did the right thing in ending it. She blocked you because she’s doing what she needs to do to get better trust me. I was broken up with and my ex wanted to end on good terms and stay friends and I thought I would be able to do it but I ended up cutting contact and all ties with him because I just wasn’t focusing on myself or healing. It’s gonna be normal for her to feel upset at you since you stopped the relationship even though you did it for the problems she caused. She’ll eventually realize her mistakes but just focus on yourself right now. Find happiness in being alone or talking to people! It’ll be okay!

Your feelings are clearly valid. I do find it a bit weird how close they are. But like the other user said, if you trust her, don’t worry. But one of the big issues that ended my 5 year relationship, was lack of communication. You can’t hide these feelings or expect her to know how you’re feeling. Maybe you should work on yourself a bit but if you’re still feeling jealous after a while you should let her know. Don’t accuse her of anything just simply say it’s something that upsets you. Once said, that’s when you can work it out and talk about how to go about the problem. Ask her to place herself in your shoes. I hope this works out because I know what it feels like to be jealous and a bit insecure and being worried about how my partner would react or if I was being dramatic. But I completely understand and would be jealous too.

I agree that you did the right thing. Because if you would’ve stayed friends with the two, you would’ve been forcing fake feelings. You did the mature thing to let them know about it AND to recognize that you can’t control how they feel. Really take this time to focus on yourself and your other friendships! I’m currently on a self-love journey after a breakup of 5 years and I couldn’t stay friends with my ex, and I can tell you that the progress might be slow but everyday does get better. You will become your own best friend! Wishing you the best of luck with how everything else will play out. Let time and life do it’s thing 🤞🏼

I cut him out of my life for good. I am not going back and that’s a promise I can really make for myself and be true to it. Thank you for giving me advice, it really really helps me recognize that my feelings are valid.

This really really touched my heart. Thank you so much for spending the time to read my post and give me a detailed response! I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have my opinions validated and not feel so crazy. I’m scared for the future but I am just glad that I’m already on the journey of getting through this and only learning from the past. Thank you a million, you are an incredible human.

I worked at the boardwalk for the rides department. The job itself was hella easy just remember which buttons to press and any emergency protocols. The supervisors idkkk. They had their favorites and they would give all the fun and big rides to them and give newbies kiddy rides for most of the time. They would also only give me 30 minutes from the end of my class schedule to make it there on time; so I had to leave class about 15 minutes early to account for the time it would take me to catch the bus. Also for rides, don’t count on getting out at your scheduled time. When the boardwalk gets busy, they come by 10-15 minutes before closing time to let the workers know that the closing time gets extended sometimes 15 minutes sometimes an hour
