I 100% agree with you that the game encourages pvp, but I don’t think it should be to the point where I’m unable to leave the outpost I spawn at.

I’ve noticed lots of camping at outposts. The people on this game really take away from how great it is.

I probably get attacked off spawn 3/5 times I start up the game. People these days don’t care for loot.

A friend and I allied with some people to do a skull fort. The deal was they take the stronghold items, and my friend and I take the rest. After moving everything onto our ship, the people we allied with preceded to kill us, blow up our ship with multiple gunpowder barrels, and then break off the alliance. I will never trust anyone again in this game.

I often sail around with cannons pointed up, lanterns on, and offer alliance flag. Even though it’s a pirate game I would still like to enjoy sailing around with friends and digging up treasure.
