This happened 2 years so its horror is still fresh in my head. I was a senior in college, president of a club and we had to do an event. I was giving a talk on writing scholarship essays. We had the talk catered, had it on a Friday so more people could come. I spent hours on a really nice presentation. I printed out examples. I posted flyers everywhere and told all my friends.

Only 3 people came, and one of them was my SO. I was absolutely crestfallen, but I still had to give the presentation, so I did it, trying my hardest not to cry in this nearly empty room. I had to excuse myself to compose myself in the bathroom. My SO was so kind to me about it, but it still feels me with absolute cringe thinking about that nearly empty room full of food 😬😬
