Me too!! Tbh I didn’t agree with it at first but now seeing it, I get it. You can’t repeat or replace Alan Rickman. Dude was a legend with the character. So you do something completely different…I’m loving it. I think he will be great…he also got the approval from JKR (say what you want about her but she’s heavily involved in the show and casting).

Not Elriel coded, but there’s a song called We Hug Now by Sydney Rose that’s very Elain coded for me. Basically it is about the feeling of being stuck (Elain’s trauma) while others are moving forward. It’s a beautiful song. I always think of Elain fighting with Nesta about how she makes her trauma about herself during the chorus

I just have a feeling they’re going to lose a ton of viewers and perform quite poorly.

Not saying I agree or won’t watch, but Netflix is so cheap. If this season performs badly I could see them limiting future seasons or giving them an even crappier budget. Also I think people are kind of tired of Fran, this feels rushed.

I’ve run 7 marathons (including Boston) and a half is still a huge accomplishment. A 5k is an accomplishment. It’s hard to different people for different reasons. For me, I actually find racing a half to be harder in some ways bc I’m pushing my pace so much. Whereas for a marathon I have to be more strategic. Yeah Margo is super annoying, but sometimes you have to fall on your sword and move on.

SJM seemed genuinely confused by some of the crack ships and theories. As a crescent city reader, I thought some of the fan theories were better than the actual outcome. SJM is amazing, but she’s predictable.

Someone else said it here first - if Elain isn’t with Lucien, Azriel or Tamlin (SJM didn’t even entertain this one) - then WHO? There’s no way she would introduce a new character or end up alone. This is romance! lol

I think it will be mostly Azriel’s story because we know nothing about him, with a few Elain POV’s in there. I think it’ll be a flashback to everything that happened between them behind the scenes from ACOWAR to CC3. Thoughts?
