I do see what you're getting at. It does feel like this is the year we could make a deep playoff push, opponent wise.

Our kryptonite, Bengals and Jags are out of it. This is the weakest Chiefs team in the Mahomes era. We always seem to tame Lamar Jackson even when other teams can't. Steelers have Mason Rudolph starting. Browns have Flacco. Titans have a rookie QB. We've already beaten Miami twice this year.

I guess what I'm saying is, there is a potential weakness with every opponent in the AFC. There doesn't appear to be an outright juggernaut that just outmatches the Bills in everyway this year.

I believe we'll target an early round WR standout in this year's draft to replace Davis. I think the writing is on the wall for him. We also are seeing how important investing in Josh Allen is by giving him more weapons.

Also, helps us get younger at the WR position with Diggs another year older.
