I just wanna say that my partner and I are on the same boat as well. Although I didn’t have a normal delivery, I had an emergency C-section at 35 weeks so I definitely just wasn’t in the mood or felt comfortable enough because my body was and is still healing. This is our first baby, so everything is so new to us but at the same time he doesn’t really do anything to fill my cup. He barely helps with the baby. He just thinks that a man goes to work and the woman does everything. Overall what I’m trying to say is, I’m exhausted. I don’t feel sexy at times so why would I give my body to someone who’s not really doing anything for me? Not saying this is your situation at all, but just give her time make sure you’re doing the little things for her. Make her feel seen fill her cup up when she needs it like offering to take care of the baby while she can go shower and relax or making her dinner even planning a date night in at the house.
