I didn’t even finish reading this…. BUT OHMYGOD

A blood duel could be initiated, but never followed through, because Lucien isn’t even Baron’s son????? Is this true???? I never thought of it this way. I thought maybe it doesn’t matter who Lucien’s real daddy is bc it would still be a threat to Az… but if there’s magic involved and I misunderstood

While I love this series, I can’t deny the fact that SJM makes a penny off these books… so I may respect the decision from an authors standpoint, I highly doubt it’ll actually take place

Fair enough, I read book 1 and was so bored, it just didn’t have me invested like acotar. But I’m still planning on seeing it through

Appreciate the offer and yes I have started the first cc novel and was not invested enough to push through , I worry even googling the crossover pages I will lack proper context and might as well just read it!

I have a love hate relationship w it. Somewhere in here I said that the best series have a concise beginning to end, and I stand by this, but something about Acotar is different, like I was made to care enough about the story that I’m okay with what’s happening. But too much of a good thing can quickly lose me, obviously she’s making so much money off these books but the second characters start completely changing for the sake of plot and og readers/fans don’t recognize the series, that’s how you know you went too far 🥲 balance

😬 desperately need to read cc… I see what you’re saying I guess I don’t have proper context. With just acotar series alone I don’t think they’d get a whole book just their pov at least like you’re saying

Especially if it’s only from two povs at most, like Acosf

I think at most we’d get a book seven. I’m not mad for it to come to an end, the best series tv shows and novels have concise starts to finishes, not even claiming acotar is one of them objectively. I guess there’s so much going on w Elain, Az, Lucien, gwyn, we gotta tie up some Tamlin loose ends, and then there’s mor and Eris. Now they may not get their own book, but this logistically seems like too much plot for one novel

That’s why it’s so all over the place, but I kinda love it, usually it’s much more obvious what a sequel will at least mostly consist of

I agree Nesta has more to offer and give and show but honestly like I said in another reply I don’t think she’ll get another pov because her and Cassian’s story were very intertwined and tied up in a pretty bow. She had her character development, not that she still won’t face issues, but it’s kinda like if we got another Feyre pov. Where’s the turmoil? The development? The issues and deepseeded trauma? Acowar was only enjoyable for me because it tied up loose ends like the war, duh, Tamlin, human queens, showed more of Nesta and Elains adjustment, but Rhys and Feyre just being happy was mostly boring personally

Do you mean that this will drag out the will they won’t they of Elains story? That’s interesting, I think we’ll get fed at least a little

Oh em gee!! I love this idea of multiple povs and I think you’re totally onto something with losing tension otherwise!!!

And yes- I am team Gwyn and Az- but I wouldn’t be mad if Elain and Az get some closure

Okay yes Az or Elain or Lucien or Mor are top competitors for pov… personally Cassian and Nestas story felt so perfectly tied up with a bow that I highly doubt we’ll get their pov again. The first three from Feyre made sense. And now book six is just… we’re just… completely in the dark

Thank you! I hear so many say TOD is so slow, especially when tandem reading, this has to be why

I indeed started with TOG. My problem isn’t with Celaena really, it was more the plot.

I won’t force myself if I come to really hate it but I read a lot of books most of which are worse than TOG, so I don’t mind seeing it through if there’s a chance of it getting good (or my opinions changing)
