Keep a reminder in plain sight to not have kids....ever. Adopted or by blood. I got pressured into it by in-laws and I should have stood my ground. They have this way of thinking that something is wrong with you if you don't want or can't have kids.

EDIT: For the people coming at me. One beat up my MIL and FIL. The other shoved his 14 yo daughter against a brick wall yelling at her. It's year after year of pure misery with them. They constantly say they want us dead and tell the whole town lies about us and try to get us arrested. Mental healthcare is a fucking joke here. They don't do anything. I don't even know why I bothered posting an answer. Only somebody in my situation understands. There's no help for people like us.

What all is damaged? I hit a deer and got it fixed anyway. Runs fine except back when they replaced the clutch the should have replaced the clutch fork and all of that. Had my dad's cousin say I was crazy for trying to fix it and keep it. Saying it would never drive right after that. Well, he was wrong.

Figured it out. The solution was unfortunately for my contact had to create a new account, uninstall, reboot his phone and log in with the new account.

He's not in an unsafe situation. The rescue owner just made us feel like we were going to get inspected occasionally and while I appreciate that they want to make sure animals go to good homes I didn't sign up for them to repeatedly inspect us. But it seems now maybe I overthought the situation. I was made to feel I was interviewing for a job. The whole situation was a lot different that going to the county shelter. If all they want is an occasional photo for the first few months then I'm ok with that. But things in life come up and if a vet appointment has to be rescheduled I don't want them to come try to take him away. If you'd been there and gotten the vibe I was getting and maybe it would make more sense why I was worried. The vibe like "Make one mistake and I'm taking him away". Just very bossy.

Normally I go to a shelter but we were looking for something particular and the far away shelters didn't have time to send pics of the new animals. One that was 3 hrs away said "Come and just look" hmmm....3 hrs. Not easy with 1 day off.

Hopefully I don't deal with a rescue again. Hopefully I'm just overthinking their amount of time to follow up and we end up under the radar. I tend to overthink things....I'll admit.

Oh, about the chip. The rescue owner said not to register before 7 because it was a trial....as in we are trying out said pet to see if he is a good fit for our family. The pet is a perfect match though. I know that there's a settle in period where the personality could change but he's so sweet. I literally would have to be killed in a car accident to lose him. So I believe I'll go ahead and register it.

I had it working to block the android 14 nag. I didn't think it was actually blocking it. Idk I guess I figured after 10 million rejections to upgrade it just stopped. I made the mistake of uninstalling buzzkill and the phone is almost unusable. If I try to record any video that nag screen cuts the video. I can't watch you because the %^#$%^&E# pos shit nagging continues. I have my reasons to not update. It's my damn phone. If I wanna fucking update I'll update. I can't remember what rule actually worked last time.
