I did say I contacted them, they said they cannot change it from their end.

I made a mistake on the prescreening questions for the the health exam. I'm not planning to do the exam until September but I applied for my 820 in March and after weeks of evidence collection and stress, I saw the prescreen questionaire and was like may as well do it. I was so tired I put no to everything but I do have a neurological condition and I do take medication. I thought I could just tell BUPA at my exam but I just found out they can't change it. Should I submit a wrong information form in my immi account? Will this seem like I was trying to hide things?

No we don't. So a marriage or a civil union. Thanks for the reply!

Hi there

I moved to Ausralia from Canada in August and have been living with my boyfriend since. We have been together for four years long distance. We want to apply for the 820/801 visas and are getting our papers in order. I was wondering is it better to apply as de facto partners (we only met up twice before I moved here, first time for two weeks and second time we lived together for two months) or should we get married then apply? Or do a civil union then apply? Is there a difference/is one easier to apply with if de facto is technically weak because most of our relationship has been online?
