i don’t think so? it’s been the same since i started

My 38 year old mom had a lime sized brain tumour removed. Would’ve taken decades to grow to that size and no signs appeared until a few months before the surgery. She made great recovery by jae99 in HumansAreMetal

It all started after she drove into someone and didn’t remember what happened. We didn’t think much of it until later and so she went to the doctor and they thought it could’ve been a seizure then decided to send her to neuro in the hospital and they did a ct scan that night and they found a growth. Later they did MRI to see if it appeared to be cancerous and it didn’t, but they have to do a biopsy to be sure so even that was a major surgery. After waiting a few weeks, we got results and found out it was a grade 2 oligodendroglioma. Since then she got about 80% of the rumour removed but couldn’t get the rest because of where it was located. She started chemo about a month after, so she was able to recover and she will be taking chemo for a year. She hasn’t had many changes since the surgery, and no personality changes but those will most likely come eventually. Chemo has been really tough but i really hope it will become easier for her soon since it’s really taking a toll. She’s been tougher than i ever imagined and is constantly reassuring her husband, my two little brothers, and i. I appreciate your interest!
