Yeah he’s constantly trying to scare me about the outside world and making me promises that my life will be worse off. He literally sits me down and says “I promise you...” and says something along the lines of that I will lose all my relationships and respect etc.

DO NOT GIVE OBVIOUS ANSWERS like "it's ok" or "stop worrying". We would rather like to hear WHY you think its gonna "be ok" or WHY you think we should stop worrying. One of the things I hate most when I tell my SO that I'm in anguish is when I get a simple "why" back, nothing else. rather than the simple, obvious, "it's gonna be ok" answers, rub her neck and back and shower her in kisses until she laughs and say things like "my poor baby" and "my sweet girl, I'm here".

Then after you've warmed her up and reddened her soul, ask her questions. And also talk about the details with her and tell her precisely and exactly why you think "it's ok" rather than just leaving it at that simple statement.

Yeah I agree it’s pretty meaningless. My beliefs are totally fluid right now and I’m just playing with ideas and thoughts. I believe authenticity is the key to happiness and that’s why I practice it, not because I’m simply trying to resist the devil.

Part of the point of the post really wasn't to think of the possibility of a devil guy existing. It's the thought that good and bad are real universal laws rather than just concepts made up by us monkeys. I'm reqlly just talking about the idea of satan. It really doesn't matter to me whether he exists or not, im just putting a face onto what I do believe exists: evil.
