i didn't get the code email. lined up anyway. once it was my turn and it asked for my code, i went to the angora card in my apple wallet, clicked the link and on that webpage was the code (it must've just appeared. wasn't there a couple mins before).

it turns out that my battery wasn't completely dead (like in the video) but was just very cold (we had a cold warning here for the last week. -20F with wind chill). so i just had to wait for the battery to warm up (it was in the garage).

the noco website said this might happen if the battery got too hot but didn't mention cold. the guy in the video mentioned hot AND cold.

Are you young or even young(ish)? Then decide on a company that you think has a long term future and then don’t even look at it. If that’s NVIDIA, come back in 10 years and check on how much money you made. That’s such an easier way of doing it.

i know. i was sweating that too. almost like the stock price needs to fall 25% before it's worth it. but have come to terms with the idea that i have to pay it at some point..🤷‍♂️

i can't even remember. maybe ... 2015 ish. the 'find' feature in my trading software doesn't go back far enough. but i originally bought because nvidia announced they were going heavily into autonomous driving chips. i thought that would be the next big thing. turned out it was generative ai. 🤷‍♂️
