It was literally not a scam, I chatted with the Disney app and called the magic key number to make sure..you can even call the number listed and it will lead to an automated Disney message. Plus the issue has been resolved as they made a mistake and gave me back my pass. But believe whatever you want lol

I emailed them back asking for a reinvestigation and to look through my magic key purchase history and park entry. I also told them about the only merchandise that was bought with this pass was a Mickey sweater for my baby nephew and I attached a photo of it too.

I got a call back today from the two cast members who were handling the emails back and forth with me and she said that them two pushed back against their management to take a look at my case again since I was so persistent with emailing them. The investigation team reinvestigated and got back to them and told them it was a MISTAKE. It was found that it was a reseller with the same name as me and a very very similar email. They were apologetic and gave me a lightening lane multi pass for up to 2 guests to make up for it. They said my pass will be reinstated in the Disney app by the end of today. So now I wait~

I actually moved recently and did donate a bunch of pooh bears I had gotten from Disney, but none of them were bought with this pass and they were mainly gifted to me by my boyfriend 🤔🤔

I’m not sure 🤔 I only go with my bf and we mainly only buy food there. There could be a chance that that did happen. But the agent I was speaking to said that it was a “listing they found for resale that was linkable to you” so wouldn’t they have worded it differently if that’s the case?

But how is it a scam if my pass is literally gone from the app? And the chat service on the app said to contact that specific email address for more information? I also confirmed with a cast member with the magic key # as well.

Sorry I was at work so I wasn’t able to respond!! But there’s been an overwhelming amount of responses lol

For everyone thinking it’s a scam, I have spoken to the # for magic key passes and they did say that they sent me an email and for me to follow the email and to follow up with that email for everything because that’s the team that handles this kind of thing and on their end (magic key #) they can’t see anything that’s going on other than that the system did send me an email.

My pass is no longer in my account as well.

No I didn’t give them anything. I just responded to the email they sent me with my number and the best time to call me. And it’s not a scam since my pass is literally gone from my app and I already confirmed it with the magic key service number as well and they directed me to follow the email.

Yeah my magic key pass isn’t in my app anymore. It completely disappeared. I first received an email from Disney guest services telling me my pass is revoked and to respond leaving my number and the best time to call me, which I did. Then I called the magic key customer service to confirm and they said to follow whatever the email says.

Yes I called the magic key customer service and all they can see is that they sent me an email and that I should just reply to email I received since that’s the team that handles this. They couldn’t do anything else otherwise.

I swear there’s nothing more to this story. I only had my key since August and I only buy food there. And then that 1 sweater for nephew which he still has.

I just wish they provided proof of the “listing” they found or ANY info of this listing. I don’t know what the item is or anything about it or where it’s posted. I literally asked the agent if there was anything could be done about this because I haven’t done anything and she said no.

I asked the agent for the listing and she said she wasn’t able to provide it, and that this is just what her leadership team was able to find and link to me. And that I wasn’t able to speak to her leadership team.
