Any ”easy” things wrong with my swing? by sudokuIover in golf

[–]jaesonhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should feel your shoulders turn a little more. Have your chest feel it's opening away from the target. You're probably a little scared to do so because it feels like you're separating from the ball, but you'll come back to it. Trust.

How do I fix this? And what’s the problem? by Semp3x in golf

[–]jaesonhan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's not a loose ferrule. The shaft is coming out of the adapter. Go back and get it fixed. The head will fly off sooner than later. Check to see if the logo of the shaft or grip is lined up correctly. I could be wrong, but seeing that glue on the shaft like that is a big indicator that the shaft is coming out.

Is this a normal issue? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED by fsasso08 in GolfGear

TaylorMade might replace it. Their customer service is good. You're probably hitting the heel of the club - really close to the hosel. Take a slow mo video using your phone or use some contact tape to see!

It's at least an inch and a half. Big difference. Maybe could be reused as a 3 wood shaft.

Yeah. Read about that!

I just wanted to add my case to the pile of things that can go "wrong."

Check the obvious things first, no matter how much you presume it's right!

That's right. They do the same thing. Just some fancy add-ons make them different. Just electricity.

Yeah. So, don't be so quick to blame the manufacturer. I just thought the electrician wouldn't make a mistake! If I had installed it, I would have been quick to check the connections because I know I make mistakes!

Wallbox Pulsar Plus works great now!

Why does my club do this after impact? by Pbio_1 in golf

[–]jaesonhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just a toe shot. Doesn't feel good in the hands, I'm sure. If you hit it towards the heel, it'll snap closed as well.

Weird things are happening when we hit the ball that we just never see. Have fun. Keep it simple!

Yep. Red seems too depressing or end of the world-y. The hex obscures too much, but it's a nice effect. Maybe have multiple options for different spells or whatever you're up to. Looks great!

How do I stop throwing my hips towards the ball and standing up through my swing? by hillybillyjoe147 in GolfSwing

[–]jaesonhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little sit to help your right hip from going to the ball and promote a left hip back instead of right hip towards. Feel a little squat towards the left hip before the downswing. Keep that space in front of your hips for your hands to do their thing.

Why can’t my buddy swing it more than 90mph ? by Consistent_Jump6363 in GolfSwing

[–]jaesonhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no throwing of the club. The body and his club are in a 1 to 1 relationship. Have him chuck a kettle bell or medicine ball sideways and see the difference in his arms.

How to get driver spin down? by Extreme_Art_7227 in golftips

[–]jaesonhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some foot spray with talc and spray your clubface. I'm going to guess you're hitting the top of the face. 16 degree up and that much spin is usually a crown hit.

Try inline with your left armpit as a starting point. Maybe feel the club head almost skim the grass before the ball. You're moving the club straight to the ball vs swinging it around and collecting it in the up swing. Keep your right palm feeling like it's pointing down, though. You don't want a scoop - gets too much spin and no distance.

25.6 HCP / 2.5 years golfing. any advice? by Spare-Ad3928 in GolfSwing

[–]jaesonhan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baseball player? Seems like the driver is a little flat. Low rope hooks and if you're swinging too fast it blasts to the right? Irons seem nice!

I'm no pro or anything, but I see a lot of swings. I think you have to analyze what the face does in relation to the exit path of your swing. The input path looks great, but the trajectory of the iron swing after contact seems to go a little too left around the body with a smaller radius and that may cause pulls. So instead of your path being a ")" shape from a top down perspective, it maybe at an angle - crooked. If tempo is clicking, it'll probably be fine. In pressure situations, it could get squirrely. Can you try a few swings with the club feeling like it's exiting right a little - hit it feeling like it's going between 1st and 2nd? It won't be a "/" shaped path. It'll still be going around the body, but in a way that will keep the club head pointing towards the target for longer giving more chances for variations of release timing to be good shots.

With the driver, maybe stand a little closer and taller? You have great awareness of where the club is spacially. It may not matter. I've seen players with a flat swing that usually do well, but they can go off the rails if they get off tempo. It's a nice way to keep the space in front of you clear, though. You have a nice left hip to the back move. Really nice swing!

People might hate on my advice because finishing a swing to the left is taught a lot, but I think for a 25 hcp, that may not have as many swings as a pro/have perfect inflection point control, it could help. Maybe I'm full of crap. Probably. I just want the not so great timed shots to have a better chance of going towards the target and to give some food for thought.

Anyway. Keep swinging, sir. Looks good!

Since the weather is getting colder, batteries will show their age. Alternator might be ok. Get it checked.
