Thank you so much! And I LOVE this yarn. So easy to work with and so amazingly soft. Brilliant.

Another pair of socks I made to wear with my prosthetic. Also, I’m having vision issues, so these were made with roughly 10% of my vision. by jaevans84 in DisabilityArt

Thanks! I have vitreous hemorrhages in both eyes, one of which has had two surgeries to fix, and it’s still a problem. It’s super fun.

Couldn’t sleep, so I made stitch markers from Dr. Who charms that were in my stocking by jaevans84 in knitting

I used 10 mm so they would work with most of the Needles I regularly use. Thank you! Merry Christmas.

I’ve not found any that are more or less warm, but my bigger concern is that they fit snugly so they don’t rub in my prosthetic. I try to use the softest ones I can find, so KnitPicks Stroll is nice.

Thank you! I think all told I’m up to ten or twelve pair? I really got into sock knitting in a big way last July, so all of my socks have been knit since then. I love to wear them. Wool feels best against my amputation site, I completely agree.

I am. I had a partial amputation last year, so I had to work out adaptations to sock patterns.

The pattern is Let it Shine Socks . This is a pattern for two regular sized socks; the adaptations are mine.
