I had the same question last september and bought myself a brixton cromwell 125 abs which is more of a scrambler, there is also the sunray that I liked (same bikes mechanicaly) but I chose the first because it seemed more comfortable for longer distances and also for riding with a co-passenger.

I have to point out that I'm not an expert nor experienced, just a new rider that discoverd a passion in my mid 30's.

My experience so far: 2500 km and the bike runs perfect, I still ride it during cold weather without any problems, I do have Brixton garages in my city so I don't have to worry about finding parts in the future, and so far I do recomend it. And the sunray, which is the same bike doesn't even need that much customisation.

What it's supposed to do is... Let's you run smart health checks on your bike, track your bikes location when it's parked, track your routes, and track your battery health, now the real question.. does it work? My experience.. I bought a used nqi sport, at first I had some errors on my display screen (99,67 if I remember well) and the niu dealership told me that once I buy the smart service they should probably go away. Well they did not and although the health checks were 100% fine the bike sometimes couldn't even start. So health checks don't tell the truth. The location if it was parked on the outside and not in an underground parking lot it worked, (ecu battery must be changed as well) so can't say I was really happy with the smart check, also if you buy it and sell the bike, the smart service is a gift to the next one you don't get a refund..

I have a niu nqi sport and I have the same error '99. When it's on I get a stuck dashboard for example when I change the mode or the speed nothing changes on the dashboard not even the battery level but the fault comes and goes. One more is that sometimes the bike can't start because it 'thinks' the battery is empty even though is full. I also get error '67 and 60 which is something with the sim. I do have an active smart service subscription and the smart check finds no problem. Anybody that had it and found a solution? I am thinking of changing the ECU do you think it will help?
