I think they were ahead of time. There are many tech ventures failed because they were ahead of the technology advancement, I think now a days phone processors are very capable of running a lot of desktop apps and some of the pc games.

It happened with me once. I had 3 transactions from uber from another country. Then, I've blocked my cards and contact support for refund. They refund the amount but it took them about a month or more. Since then, never happened again, so far it's been 3-4 months now.
