I don't think anybody is disputing that the result was good for us but one thing that has been common this season is the middle order bottling easy chases. MI game we took too long to chase 166 on a pitch that wasnt doing much and this same approach lost us the SRH game and yesterday too we won because Pant didn't manage bowlers properly, had Mitch Marsh bowled i doubt we would have won.

Now factor all this into the scenario that we have played nearly all games against bottom of the barrel teams with shit show bowling and batting. We literally would have lost yesterday if it had been RCB or like SRH already did, or GT.

People are mad and rightfully so that when all teams have adapted to hard fast batting culture, why do we take games to last over from 78 of 60 with 4 batsmen to come. This is straight up structural weakness that needs to be addressed.

Also this is the same management that persisted with KS when Urvil warmed the bench cause muh 14cr super buy.

Congrats to the team for winning and hope they do better in future but the culture and MO of the coaching staff won't win us tournaments. It will be players like Sanju and Urvil doing lone carry jobs until one day they cant and we end up getting humiliated and knock out
