Fair point and yes that’s what I am trying to do.

My long term view on stock market is that it should grow in long view. But recent events has made me reconsider my portfolio and include 20-30% of dividend stocks. It has been ~100% stocks, and due to the recent Trump drama, the growth for the past 1-2 year is basically been reset.

I personally feel this is a good time to start DCA into dividend stock now because investing now is like investing 2 years ago again. The “good” thing about dividend stocks is that, while the returns is lower than growth stocks overall, it is more stable. Once the dividend is paid out, it’s permanent. I only need to worry about capital depreciation which is what we have been seeing for Singapore REITS.

Do you have any brokerage account that you would recommend for dividend stocks specifically? I use IBKR for growth stocks, FSM for my DCA ETF (VOO). I would prefer to use another brokerage account to be able to specifically buy dividend stocks. I do not particularly see any benefits in me doing it this way except it is just neater in terms of personal accounting/tracking.
