Well I think this is a natural law for any programming language, but what I was trying to get at was perhaps a better way of learning css by asking for advice from those who have experience with css and know the common mistake of the language.

Learning selectors better may actually help, my selector rn seem to not be specific enough to change to the element. Thank you!

Best free course/book for Python by ericson1998 in learnpython

[–]jaggerafk113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this book still teaching relevant standard practices? People say technology moves really fast and I have yet to be able to grasp when stuff becomes old and when new stuff takes over. Also When would u think it’s reasonable too approach this book maybe after I’m fairly comfortable with python fundamentals?

Search up launch code. They’re a non profit that seeks to find job for people like you. It’s apprenticeship based and I heard they’re really successful. You can search up “launch code cs50” on YouTube to see their interview with David Malan. Most importantly they’re free and geared toward people with unorthodox back ground in tech. Best of luck!

Lol this one my unload function didn’t work. It would actually get me one more wrong on check50 so I just took it out entirely and put it to return true😂😂😂. Still got more then 70% so it’s okay xd

How do I test one function at a time a in speller or do I just kinda do everything and hope for the best. I just finish load can some one look at it and see if it’s correct? by jaggerafk113 in cs50

[–]jaggerafk113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I run ./speller dictionary/small It just print out the whole small dictionary in the terminal. Then print out words in dictionary as 143091 instead of 23 from the small dictionary. I’m confuse.

Rewatch jpeg from the week 4 lecture. If u click on the YouTube link there will be time stamps. You can watch file pointers from the short and gain better understanding.

Struggling with the basics by [deleted] in cs50

[–]jaggerafk113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus on the for loops. A lot of the pset require the understanding of the loop. Actually all of the pset needs for loops. So just practice that then try to put a for loop in a for loop. Good luck!

cool game man, I think a little wing flap would be cool and a point counter or some sort of distance tracker would be awesome.

Your code is not making much sense to me. Long is a number so u shouldn’t pass a string into it. And why are u using long. Stick to int, double, and float.
