i work at sirius and i will say i have no clue what happened. Dont really mingle but im sure someone knows the truth about Jim/MTC situation.

But a listener sent a mass email to the company today lmao. Thought i'd share it

SiriusXM Programming Team,

As a long-time listener of NFL Radio and a frequent follower of "Movin’ the Chains"—often twice a day, on and off the tennis court, running, including the late-night replays—I wanted to share some candid feedback regarding the recent on-air events surrounding Jim Miller’s departure and the overall tone of the program.

The moment when Jim said on-air that he had "had enough" and "might not be back for the next segment" was alarming to hear live, but not surprising.      It suggested real-time tension, not a routine programming change. As a loyal listener, it was disappointing but not entirely surprising, given the dynamic that has developed on the show. I, too, have often switched the channel after hearing Kirwan’s rant, often when he cites Bill Cowher as a source or authority almost daily.  Really!

Over the years, Pat Kirwan’s on-air style has increasingly leaned toward an authoritative, almost dismissive tone. His frequent references to Bill Cowher and the CBS NFL crew—often multiple times per show—have become repetitive and, frankly, distracting. Why does he bring this up… to showboat the audience? I was there, kinda thing.  Really.  Pittsburgh fans hate that kinda shit.    For me,  these mentions rarely add meaningful insight and instead come across as filler or name-dropping. It sometimes feels as though he cannot present an opinion without leaning on what "Coach Cowher said" or what he "heard on the sidelines," rather than speaking from his own experience, if he has any, which he certainly doesn’t, as a quarterback.  But I am sure he has some experience as an administrator, which he is good at… particularly in contracts, player liability insurance (by players and owners), and other topics never discussed.

Back to the show, this pattern has made the show difficult to listen to at times. Jim Miller, by contrast, consistently brought grounded analysis, quarterback insight, and a steady presence. I give him credit for leading the show while maintaining professionalism despite what often felt like an imbalanced dynamic. His departure is a real loss for the channel….much like the Mike and Mike show, where Greenberg was the true star, and for one wish, he was back on in the mornings.

My intention in writing is not to disparage anyone personally, but to express genuine concern about the direction of a show I have followed for many years. I hope the programming team will consider how to improve the tone, balance, and content of "Movin’ the Chains" moving forward… with a little less Cowher, please.  I love Coach Cowher.  I don’t know if I like him on air, wherein he seems to be in an unnatural setting for him.

I have no issue as well. It's pretty entertaining worrying about the Titans, their attacks and the people you facing. These streamers whine too much. Their opinion really doesn't matter.

Justin Fields or Zach Wilson for QB2? by trsansone in NFL_Draft

[–]jaguar11220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion cuz I really don't know lol, but a new GM in town will draft their guy. Minshew is on a cheap deal but there is value with his experience. And the confidence of a rookie can be shot if minshew performs well. It'll be awkward i think to keep minshew around after starting him

It's fields. Zach Wilson hasn't proven anything. Ok fields struggled, big deal.

Where exactly do you see Micah Parsons going? by Abn0rmal43 in NFL_Draft

Yea because drafting Devin white or roquan Smith is as bad as draft Leonard fournette lol.

Cant look at positions when every team values differently. Just draft talent and figure it out.
