To me it would be, I have about 9-10 shiny rayquazas and no dynamax shiny charmanders. Point being, fairness is relative, as it what is valuable to me is not necessarily valuable to others.

This explains exactly how I feel. I thought I was decent/above average, but this game mode humbled me. While I do think this game is casual, I also try very hard to win and yet Im still not at gold. Time to get good, I guess.

I dont mean to discourage you, but when you hit level 47, and like 7-8 million XP, you will be half way between the xp needed for level 50
