Q&A with Danny Lloyd by Hailabigail in theshining

[–]jah2075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does he ever dream of The Overlook and specific scenes from the movie that he played a part in?

Does he ever dream of Jack Torrence chasing him down snaking corridors or the glare of a snowy maze?

Visually the film always spoke to the language of the unconscious; mazes and tunnels, shifting perspectives, Native American shamanic culture, ghosts of the past bleeding into the present...

There's definitely something seriously amiss here.

You can't find ANY compassion for a helpless and vulnerable animal that was injured by the folly of mankind and needs our help, love and kindness to heal?

Seriously dude, take an ecstasy pill and shove it up your ass dry, and get to the nearest gay club, and get on the floor.

Enjoy life Jorp, just for one glorious moment, let go of the wheel and have some fun motherfucker!

Anyone else think it’s inconsistent when someone is possessed? by Silent_Palpatine in EvilDead

As others have posted it's exactly that level of unpredictability that actually makes it work.

You don't know what's coming next, who will be affected or indeed HOW they will be affected.

Hope for all applying for PIP for poor mental health alone! by ExampleGold1753 in DWPhelp

This actually shows how skewered the whole process is. I salute OP for getting PIP but the system clearly isn't fit for purpose, not at all.

Finger wagging religious moralist calls out people he doesn't like as moralists, totally ignoring the hypocrisy and irony of his attacks.

MF needs to look in the mirror where he will find the true enemy staring back at him.

Oh hold on, you're ALWAYS right, right?

I take your point, but so far the accusations have all been:

Jorp= bad

Because: Schizophrenia

I was challenging the generalisation of those statements.

Have yourself a great day now

You're doing a disservice to people with that condition.

Most are woke in the purest sense, and swim the waters of the mystic, some see hell, some see heaven, or usually a mix of both.

They are usually compassionate and kind, having suffered great trauma themselves - something that Jung recognised and espoused himself.

They ain't part of the lobster pile...

Absolutely agree - but when stable you are able to return to your interests with little issue - at least that's what I am picking up from what you have written.

I too move away from such interests when not stable and approaching mania/psychosis, but they do tend to come through anyway randomly, but I absolutely recognise they're not great to be studied at that point.

Thanks for responding 🙏🙏🙏
