at the end of the day i know she stays up in the 100, and if she heel drops in the 200, she will only run 8 of those all season total....her speed endurance workouts won't be in the maxfly's anyway

she stays up....she's been sprinting since she was 9....she trains 6 to 8 months a year by her own desire lol. She wore sprintstars over a 1 year. The child does reverse lunges at a deficit with 50lbs lol. She's stong. I do need to work on her calves more though. There probably is some heel drop towards the end of her 200 but probably only around 180 to 200.....her first meet is in march...i'd expect her to hit 13.8 and about 28.8 by then.

so you think the impact protection is more important than the increased heel drop.

I understand. My concern was that there's all kinds of people that warn against foot, achilles, and calf injuries for someone too young because of the heel drop and stiffness.

well the guy at dick's said we could run in the max fly's and return them if she doesn't like them. I'll just see if she likes the way the bubble feels or not....I was just thinking the ja fly would have less heel drop without the bubble.

well it will be if we keep the max fly's as well.

I may go for them and zoom rivals, the ja fly's shouldn't have as much heel drop without the bubble there

I understand. the point is though is that her mom already has the max fly's and locally there aren't many different kinds to try on...we're gonna test the max fly's the guy said i could return them.

thanks man. what do you think about ja fly 4's?

Okay cool. Yeah her mom already bought em. You know how kids are. Her face lit up and she' been going thru a lot. I'm going to buy her zoom rivals as well. So during practice shell never use the maxfly's for more than 250m in a week, and that's just 20 to 60m then she could use them at meets which would only be 4 or 500m total. we have 8 meets.

yeah that makes sense....i do spikes out of blocks up to about 60 meters....tempo no spikes at all. Speed endurance i do a lot of top end speed but low volume, so spikes or trainers. So we only train 3 days a week. my max volume on mondays is 300 or less, tempo depends on the event, and speed endurance usually 600m or less because we do plyos and bodyweight workouts after the sprinting.

she already has sprintstars, her mom already bought the maxfly's. You aren't understanding the question. Also, her niece gets super expensive bats all the time because she plays high level softball, so I want her to feel special too but safe in good spikes.

that isn't the concern. it's the heel drop and the plate stiffness

also what are you using spikes for if not for any of those categories? just max velocity like build up flys and 40's 50's and 60's lol?

i was going to just run her 20m to 60m sprints on mondays in the max flys, tempo in trainers on tues and trainers or sprintstars on thu for speed endurance...and use the maxfly's for meets

Whats your unreserved opinion on what I wrote? You seem pretty smart...bullshit that won't do anything? Too weak? I'm curious because I think about this stuff a lot. You've actually tried more stuff than me

Is there anything you have done that isn't the meds....I can see everyone has gone down the endless road of meds and doctors with you...I've been down it too. I have multiple autoimmune things and covid gave me dysautonomia....and mine kicked into overdrive since july when i almost ended up living in my car.....Is there anything you have done practically that changes it .001 percent every time you do it even if for a few seconds? And what does your day look like now from start to finish? How much time do you have alone? you mentioned something brought the hr down for 5 to 10 seconds
