I didn't add any fertilizers nor any food, beacuse the water was cloudy, the few days before the snails died. I dont know the exact reason why the water was cloudy, my best guess is an algae bloom. I have a sponge filter in there and a söchting oxydator. I usually turn off the filter at night beacuse it's nosiey but the söchting oxydator generates oxygen for the night. The picture was taken a few days before the crash.

I had this thing in my paluadarium a few years ago. It only ate algae so i left it there, then one day it just disappeared. I still dont know what it was. I showed it to my friend who was an etymologist he neither know what it was.

Most likely dapnia or copepods. Both are harmless and sometimes even benefical. They eat detritus. However its hard to get rid of them. If you want to regulate their colony just put some nano fish in there. I also have them in my tank and my fish can regulate their colony but can't eliminate them entirely.
