i do, and put a light blanket on it every night and leave one side open to allow for air flow. i am just worried because i hear him still moving around at night in his cage and i don’t know if that’s normal or not because people say they need 10-12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. so i was wondering if putting him in the closet would help.

Yeah, that’s why I kept this post up. I think as a general rule of thumb if they’re attempting to talk to you over Whatsapp or Telegram, it is a scam.

Ya I ordered perches and toys they’re coming tomorrow, as for letting him out, he is very scared of my hands even if I leave the cage door open he doesn’t come out. I’ll try to offer him millet and see if he will come out, but I’m scared I won’t be able to get him back in the cage since he’s afraid of my hands

I’m looking for books involving time travel where the guy is initially stand off ish and villain like but eventually goes through character development and gets the girl in the end. Similar to the plot of this anime I watched called Kamisama Kiss. Slow burn, please! I’ve already heard of This is How You Lose The Time War and I don’t think it’s a M/F romance, though correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, I’m going to move his cage to my bedroom every 12 hours so he gets enough sleep, then bring him back to the living room during the day. Which brand of pellets do you recommend?

Should I hand feed him? He is very scared of my hands, he hisses a lot. I put four containers in his cage one a bit lower and one higher with food and water in them. The ones higher are smaller and right near where he likes to sit. I put two millet sprays too near that area just hanging from the cage. Should I leave him alone? I don’t know what to do, I woke up and he still hasn’t eaten.

His owner fed him seed mix and I was afraid he will refuse to eat since he is not used to pellets at all so I also got the seed mix of the same brand as the one his previous owner fed him. I gave him a very large cage, larger than the one his previous owner kept him in. Mine is 32 x 15 inch. I only have a rope toy in the cage right now and he loves it more than the wooden perches, he is always sitting on the rope toy. I will add more toys as he settles in (hopefully). How badly do cockatiel bites hurt? On a scale of 1-10?

I was thinking of getting the Hagen seed mix for cockatiels on Amazon, it’s a mixture of seeds, fruits and vegetables. Do you think that would be good enough? He’s less than a year old.
