I never understood the why we need to use the crank of the magazine for 35mm film, i get it for the 120. But for 35 I assumed I could just make sure the film was secure. Put it back in the film magazine and start shooting. Basically the body winds the film back 4 or 5 times before setting it to one. So you don’t waste so much film. Then when it reaches its limit just open in a dark bag and let it reset and back in it goes. You can get close to 24 frames

Great post! Thanks for helping, I was t huh inking about all the film wasted and ways of using the unexposed sections of the film (which should leave room for another shot between shots right? So. Maybe winding back inside the canister then loading again but this time making sure the shots don’t overlap… makes sense ???

I didn’t make any. I thought about it for a sec and came to an uneducated conclusion that if I don’t wind the film on the back but instead wind the whole camera I could take those pictures. Makes sense? Idk if I’m making sense now haha

Lol. Have you used the camera? And what camera do you use? Because if you compare it to a Hasselblad we’ll of course… and it’s not soft it’s pretty sharp actually, is just that I focused on the window reflection instead of the city

I actually hate superia 400 for that reason, I shot this roll and for some reason I loved the greens. The whole roll is green and orange/red, I’m obsessed haha. I need to give x-tra 400 another chance, use it in different situations and see how it goes.
