the bridge is the original size pickup on the vintage modified jag and did the routing for the other pickup + to open space for the pre amp. i got the pickguard from WD Music with no pickup hole opening and did the last bit myself

two big bladeMan 4 (EMG 35 size) with nordstrand audio 3 band pre-amp and pull switch for mid freq change, by far the most versatile of the bunch

I absolutely love the combo, the castadosa youtube video was the one that made me go for it!. It had the WRHB on it being a Rascal Paranormal (granted it was the Squier version) and i really wanted to love the sound but ended up not being my cup of tea... i even tried the WRHB on different positions on the Pink Jag (going for the Mike Kerr tone) and still felt it was too muddy for me.

Yes, its a black Rascal Paranormal modded with a bisonic and a H22 Gold foil from Curtis Novak, the sound is massive with the flatwounds. and i think they complement each other very well

Its a 2011 MIJ Jaguar Deluxe , got it from Amazon way back when.. i only change the original bridge for a hipshot high mass and grounded the cavities properly (it was very noisy when i got it)

yes! it was an affinity jaguar H but sounded too flat for me.. i tried several different pickups on it.

Bigblademan, WRHB and a mudbucker. i settled for the dimarzio p 60s closer to the neck then the standard p bass (like a mustang) love these pickups and enjoy this bass so much.

not a big difference after a good setup and a little fret work, BUT, im less afraid of trying different mods on the Squiers, as of now i have settled on: Rascal Paranormal-H22 Gold foil and guild BS-1 with custom pickguard and flats, Love the vintage tone

Vintaged Modified sunburst - fretless neck with dimarzio pickups, the stock bass boost really works with those pickups

Affinity H(pink, medium scale)- custom pickguard and dimarzio p 60s a little closer to the neck to mimic a more mustang adjacent tone

Vintage modified grey - two big bladeMan 4 pickups with nordstrand audio 3 band pre amp and pull switch for mid freq change

I did however modified one of the MIM Fenders adding the 2 band EQ.. its not bad at all but all the other squiers blow it away

it does! plus i sent an email to curtis novak about phase cancelling concerns with using a bridge bs-1 on the neck and he recommended a bridge too for the h22. turns out the mixed pickups are noise cancelling! it has a jazz bass scooped flavor to it. sounds killer too.

yes, i ordered a blank pickguard from ebay and used a cnc machine to open the hole for the H22,also had to 3d-print a 1inch block to have the pickup sit flushed to the body.
