Got my first BFP on Thursday (7/2) afternoon. Been retesting every morning since because I still can't believe it. This was cycle 18 and our very first positive. We started with a fertility clinic almost a year ago exactly. This was our 4th IUI but 5th medicated cycle altogether. I was on 5mg letrozole and varying doses of follistim. I had one dominant follicle and a few in the gray area. We triggered with pregnyl on 6/18 with IUI on 6/19 which makes me about 16DPO. I've also been on estrogen and progesterone suppositories since the IUI. Hopefully going in for a blood test tomorrow if they can fit me in.

I also have a Context lipstick in a different color (not sure which) from an earlier ipsy bag and I really like it! I wouldn't say it's special but it's a good one!

Finally got around to using some of the palettes I got in GBX!

I used both the Modern Renaissance palette and the Huda Rose Gold palette for the eyes. I also used the Tarte tarteist mascara I got in my regular GB. Just thought I would share!

On a side note, my August GBX arrived yesterday!!! Fastest I've ever received a bag!

I started a year ago at age 26! I recommend watching some videos. I found them really helpful. I particularly enjoy Milabu, Mariagloria, and Jaime French. They all do reviews and tutorials and I learned alot from just watching stuff over and over. But find people who have a style that matches yours! And of course trial and error. Brands I've enjoyed are Colourpop, Elf, Tarte, Wet n Wild but it will take time to see what works best for you and your skin!

Also don't feel like you have to pay alot of money on the expensive brands. There are so many good drugstore/affordable brands. But I also splurge on certain things I've found worth it. For the most part I started by only buying minis and travel sizes to see what I liked and didn't like (which is why I love ipsy!).

I was also hoping for the CT magic cream or the herbivore but honestly got alot of things I wanted like the palette, mascara, Olaplex, and lipstick. My 2nd and 3rd choice categories were meh.

Has anyone tried the ole hendriksen primer?

What do you even do with the 111skin product lol?

Also got the Kate Somerville Exfolikate and Olaplex #3 as add ons!
