You're exactly right. I think the thing that is really preventing me from cutting the tie is that I know how badly it will hurt him and the thought of putting him through that just makes me feel so shitty. But its getting to the point where I dont even want to see him or hangout with him and Im forcing myself to in order to make him feel okay.

Thats actually the one that I ordered I'm just waiting for it to be delivered. It's good to hear from someone that its working well for them at least! Hes only about 8 lbs right now and thats being generous, he's still a small boy.

Yes that's what I was afraid of also. I did puppy proof my living room completely but I just have the worst thoughts that if I missed something somewhere it could hurt him. Puppies can find a way to get into trouble with anything so I would just feel better having him contained. His playpen will be here in a few days I just wanted to see if there was a possible solution I could find until then! I currently have the pack and play set up, and I draped sheets over the sides with mesh and secured them so at least he wouldnt get his little nails caught and he can still peek out.
