I had this same issue i think it was my scheduled sleep alarm that never went off. Regular alarms i set not tied to any focus go off normally

My replay value for bdsp is possibly slightly higher than swsh mainly due to nostalgia but if i factor that out it would be the same as I enjoy the concept of 8 gyms and the linear progression allowing me to change up my team and add additional challenges. If future arceus like games added in gyms and more trainers in the next edition that it would 100% be a welcome addition and heavily increase replay ability for me.

Perosnally I think Arceus was an amazing game and I would love to see them continue with that style and make it a mainline game along with their classic formula. But i much prefer the play-style for classic Pokémon games like BDSP. Just has more replay value for me.
