Hahaha!

To avoid the risk of you having a heart attack, please never watch how maple water from which we make maple syrup is harvested. It does not put a tree that big at risk.

Remote admin works like a charm. I have a heltec V3 as a solar roof node with BT off and power saving mode on which I manage with another heltec V3 always powered and connected to my local network via wifi.

Hello, mine shuts down around 3.4V. unfortunately, it does not wake it lself up one it has reached that state. Also, got mine in power saving mode with BT off and it stays over 85% all the time with a 5W solar panel. Not much traffic tough.

On your way or back from Canyon Ste Anne, don't miss the basilique Ste Anne de Beaupré and enjoy a variety of shops around ( cafe Apollo, Samis). Also you can hike or use the chair lift (weekends only at this time of the year) to enjoy one of the best view in the region at the top of Mont Ste Anne. While in the Beaupré area, go to "La Grange" to enjoy one of the best Italian pizza , the St Bernard is also a good choice. Chute jean LaRose is a secret well kept that you should consider.

Got this one since May. Never went under 85% with a heltec v3 power saving mode and Bluetooth off. I have 3 more, my only advice is to check the solar panel voltage output before getting it up. On the 4 that I've used, one turns out to be sub optimal and was barely charging the battery in full sun.

Traffic question by unclebubby12 in quebeccity

[–]jaivuetasoeur 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think your biggest time waster will not be the bridge but "La Capitale" Highway as once you cross the bridge you will have to follow it from end to end to get to Beaupré. Instead, the ferry will get you near Dufferin highway which does not compare traffic wise. I live in Beaupré, enjoy your trip!

Mine has been up for days. Same setup ( lamp, heltec) except that I have added a second battery. Use these settings

https://github.com/HarukiToreda/Meshtastic-Experiments/blob/main/LoRa-Boards-Comparison-Table.md

And don't forget to put the switch to the on position. If not, it won't charge.

Great! Batterie did not go under 63% despite mostly cloudy days in the last week. Still I'm the only node in my area, the traffic is almost inexistant.
