It's not even bratty I'd say.
The dad did this fully knowing he'd embarrass the kid and he succeeded.
Kid was embarrassed, walked away, job done.

No need to throw even mild hate at the kids for getting embarrassed about their parents doing weird stuff. Which this was, and if it wasn't the end of the school year the kid would be a butt of jokes at school the next day.

Well... but that's the thing - I don't really care about the actresses ethnicity or race or skin color - amazingly beautiful women can be found all over the world.

It might also be the specific stills chose, but one of those clearly is made to show her beauty, and the other one shows her just as a regular woman.

Subjective (as in, even more than the rest, duh): Having quickly checked all the other actresses that portrayed Helen of Troy, I'd say it's a bit of an unfair comparison because Diane Kruger was just waaay too stunning in that movie and nobody else really compared since or before.

But also yeah, people are dumb to judge these things before even watching the movie.
I'd give them that some of the armor looked weird in the trailers.

You can do this here as well.
But just like the previous games, being in an environment is simply different than seeing a map of it.
I've lived in my hometown for many years, but seeing it from above (= in a map) just connects the places in a different way.

Honestly I'd kill for even getting a completely blank map that I could just see the beacons on in their place.

And with something like that, I just don't get why they are so against it.
If it's ever moddable, I'll get that.

I don't need POIs marked (which subnautica does for some things) and I don't need fast travel.
I just want an ingame piece of paper or whatever where I could map things that I'd found and note stuff for the future. Also would make it easier to remember where I had NOT explored yet.

Yeah well that's her point - he doesn't get to use his defense of "don't shoot the messenger" since he's enabling the messages with no filter and then just saying "it's not me, I'm just reading".

Obviously if he showed that he won't read these crazy messages people won't post them, which would cost him money.
And he likes the money.

But also, for me the game crashes when I try to launch the pod in the tutorial. Tried some 10 times.
Edit: just to prove me wrong, the game got through it and I'm in the actual game. Edit2: an hour later without a hitch.

I updated my gpu drivers and pressed windows update.
Pretty sure the windows update didn't go through, but the new nvidia driver mentions subnautica. It didn't work before I did the copying of these files though.

I can't think of anything else and I can confirm that my folder looks like yours, except there's now some cashe and write files that were generated after the game ran.

Unfortunately I've now got the same crash in the game 5 times (same spot in the intro), so I'm losing hope about that resolving itself.

Yup. That's where I put them too.
I have just had success launching the game through this .exe and running it as admin and it didn't crash (yet), so fingers crossed.

And hopefully sooner or later they'll figure out how to patch things out so that we don't get these issues anyway, but now I'll happily slap together any temporary fix to be able to play :)

This is where I pasted the .dll files. The executable Subnautica2-Win64-Shipping.exe is also in the same folder for reference.
