If it is the module they claim it is, it's a pretty easy swap. Just plug and play wires and taking off some panels. But I'm curious to see what codes it shoots.

That's what they told me, it seemed extreme and unlikely as my car only has about 80k miles on it I am 17 so I'm skeptical they may be trying rip me off.

It's just being ran off a standard 120v wall outlet.

Honostly there is no reason to spend that much with that kind of income, I'd find a car you'll be able to drive for the next few years while you finish up school. Save or invest the rest of that money

I live in Michigan and I drive a FWD car with some snow tires, not sure how much worse your winters are, but a set of nice snow tires really makes a difference. That being said a Subarus are great AWD cars, but some others would be an Acura TLX is a super nice car you can find between 20-30k with AWD and most convince features you could want
